🐹 About Miss Bobo's English learning experience:
🦉 I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and went to public school from childhood to adulthood. I didn't have much opportunity to speak English until I studied in the UK for my university education. Back in those old days when I was struggling to learn English,I was often criticised for my pronunciation or mistakes. Over time, my resistance to English became stronger and stronger. However, I went to the U.S, Finland and Germany to become an exchange student back in Secondary School. I thought that would be a great experience to force myself to speak English, I still do think those experience are precious for learning English. After being an exchange student, I realised that the way how I used to learn English only stopping me to improve English, and that was foolish.
Even your English only able to ask native speakers"What's your name? How are you", that is already a step for learning a language. And I talk to my student all the time, you can't be scared of what mistake you would probably make in English. We all learning, whether it's a mistake you make or new knowledge. I hope I could meet you in class:)🏃♀
