Hello! my name is Mark. I live in the USA in the state of Indiana where I reside with wife of 40 years. We live in a small farming community where we also have a small farm. On January 7 of this year I retired from teaching. Having taught for 20 years in the classroom I was ready to seek a new stage. There is a global craze going on t this time that I want to be part of, and that is teaching English to people of the many nations of the world. My teaching method and philosophy has a very strong emphasis on mastery. I believe that to be able to teach students you must address their own learning style. This is where it becomes important for me to know how my students learn. When we have determined the learning style we will develop an individual plan of action to teach you the English language. We will make this a fun activity while learning English at the same time. Finally, I really enjoy learning about the many different cultures and beliefs of the world. It is great to hear how each culture lives. I like hearing about the festivals and celebrations and traditions in each country. However, I request that those that come to class have video and audio both turned on and functioning. As a teacher it is important for me to be able to see your face and read you body language and expressions. I mean no disrespect by this request. It is hard for me to do my job when I can't tell what my student or clients are getting out of the lesson. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Looking forward to seeing you in the classroom.
