- Author of Russian Without Pain — an original course designed to make Russian actually approachable
- Lessons tailored to your goals, pace, and reasons for learning — not a one-size-fits-all programme
- Real conversations from day one — no endless drills before you're allowed to speak
- Experience teaching Russian to adults with zero background, including refugees at a non-profit
- A relaxed, judgment-free atmosphere where making mistakes is part of the process
- Structured progress you can feel — every lesson builds on the last
My lessons follow the Russian Without Pain curriculum, adapted to each student's goals and level.
Module 1 — First Steps (Lessons 0–4)
The alphabet, sounds, first words. Greetings, introductions, where you're from. How to describe people. Where you are and where you're going. Ordering food and drinks.
Module 2 — Everyday Life (Lessons 5–9)
Numbers and prices. Shopping and transport. Your daily routine. Family and relationships. Telling the time and talking about your week.
Module 3 — Getting Comfortable (Lessons 10+)
Past and future tense. Making plans. Talking about yourself in more depth. Understanding and being understood in real conversations.
Each module is mixed with authentic materials — videos, articles, real dialogues — chosen around what interests you personally. The curriculum gives us structure; your goals give us direction.

CLASSROOM RULES
— Come curious, not prepared — you don't need to study before our first lesson
— Mistakes are welcome — they mean you're trying, and that's exactly what we need
— Please cancel or reschedule at least 12 hours in advance — I'll do the same for you
— No ghosting — if something isn't working, just tell me and we'll fix it
— One rule above all: show up ready to speak, even if it's just one word
